We added a new item to the menu — apple dumplings with cinnamon dipping sauce. We're getting great reviews on them, so come in and try this sweet treat. Talk about comfort food! They are heaven on a cold day.

GogiBop is Now Open!
Yes! We opened Saturday, December 4. Please come out and try GogiBop Korean BBQ. We are open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 Noon to 8:30 p.m. Our first day was a big success and we hope word will spread fast. So far, our wraps, bowls and dumplings have gotten great reviews from our customers and we love getting feedback. So please come visit GogiBop soon. You'll love the smiling faces of our wonderful staff. They are friendly and helpful, so please ask any questions while ordering. Hope to see you soon!

GogiBop to Open Restaurant in Frederick, MD
Welcome to my blog! GogiBop is a new Korean BBQ restaurant opening in Frederick, Maryland, at the beginning of November 2010. We are so excited to introduce this new concept of Korean/American fusion cuisine in Frederick. It's such a beautiful, friendly community and, although we've spent a great deal of time here over the years, we now look forward to being a part of it every day.

Construction is now well underway and we are interviewing for key positions. We plan to open in early November, 2010. That's all for now, but stay tuned to my blog for regular updates on GogiBop's progress.
Here is the latest update- 10/21/2010
The construction crew is doing a fantastic job and making great progress. The rough-in plumbing is in and the fixtures will be installed next week. The tile/drop ceiling will be installed next week as well.
We should have all of our equipment delivered and installed by the first week of November. It looks like we are still on schedule to open by mid-November. We have hired most of our kitchen and line staff and will begin training during the first week of November.
